— Subscription

• Can I pause or skip my subscription?

  Yes, anytime. Once subscriptions are wired up to your account, you'll be able to pause for up to 90 days, skip a single shipment, or cancel outright — no email required.

• When do subscriptions ship?

  Tea of the Month ships on the 1st of each calendar month. Custom Library shipments fire based on your chosen cadence (biweekly, monthly, or quarterly) starting from the day you sign up.

• Can I gift a subscription?

  Yes — see /gift-subscription. Gift subscriptions can be set to 3, 6, or 12 months and ship with a personalized note in the first box.

— Brewing

• What if I don't have a kettle that hits exact temperatures?

  Most teas are forgiving within a 5°C window. As a rough rule: white and green teas want water that's stopped boiling for ~2 minutes; black and herbal teas want water that just stopped. Matcha is the only one that genuinely needs a thermometer (or a guess at 70°C).

• Can I reinfuse the leaves?

  Most of our loose-leaf teas reinfuse 2–4 times. Each PDP lists the recommended reinfusion count. The second steep is often better than the first — give it a try.

— Pairing

• How do you decide what pairs with what?

  We taste them side by side. Each tea PDP lists 2–3 pairings we've validated. The journal article 'The Art of Pairing' walks through the underlying logic.

• Are honeys and biscuits available outside bundles?

  Yes. Each pairing item has its own PDP and ships standalone. Bundles exist as a convenience, not a paywall.

• Where do you ship?

  United States only at launch. International shipping is on the roadmap; you can join the wholesale waitlist if you'd like to be notified when we expand.

• How fast does it ship?

  Orders placed before 1pm PT ship the same day. Standard delivery is 3–5 business days, free over $60. Subscription boxes ship in their dedicated cycle.

• Are your teas single-origin?

  Most are. Single-origin teas list their estate or co-op on the PDP under Origin. Blends list every component, and our Wissotzky white-label teas are noted as such — same quality, different attribution.
